EXPLORING REBDENSTE

Rabdentse, West Sikkim it is l  llIt lIt is located near Pelling and in the West Sikkim district . It was established by ​​Tensung Namgyal, the son of Phunstog Namgyal, the first Chogyal of Sikkim and remained the second city of the erstwhile kingdom of Sikkim for over a century. The city was destroyed by the invading Gurkha army in the 18th Century and today, its ruins stand as a sentinel of its regal past. Rabdentse was the second capital of the former Kingdom of Sikkim from 1670 to 1814. The capital city was destroyed by the invading Gurkha army and only the ruins of the palace and the chortens are seen here now. SPORT MEET 2023

  Sport meet 2023 We had sport meet 2023 at our university for 3 day. In first day we had indoor game  and i was also participated in carrom. Me and my friend Roshan were participated from our section in carrom from girls and  from boys there were  John and Kiran at last the winner from girls was me and Roshan. And the volunteer was from our own section (Geeta and Samten) we enjoyed a lot with each other . And many of them were participated in dart ,chess etc. And  this  sport  meet 2023 was for every one both for girls and boys overall the participants played very well . In second day we had badminton and from section c our mate played  i .e Roshan from boys were Anish and from section B there was Rahul and Regina all  the participants were played very well and they gave their 100%. Exploring Khecheopalri Lake

 KHECHEOPALRI  LAKE   It is  Located  at 34 kilometres (21 mi) to the northwest of Pelling town, the lake is sacred for both Buddhists and Hindus, and is believed to be a wish fulfilling lake. The local name for the lake is  Sho Dzo Sho , which means "Oh Lady, Sit Here". The Khecheopalri is said to represent one of the four plexus of the human body namely, the thorax; the other three  plexes  are said to be represented by Yuksom  (the third eye), Tashiding (head) and Pemayangtse (the  heart).  The formation of the lake is estimated to be 3500 years old.  The lake is situated amidst pristine forest at an altitude of 1,700 metres (5,600 ft) near Tsozo village. The lake drains a catchment area of the Ramam watershed (Ramam mountain gives its name to the valley) and has a drainage area of 12 square kilometres (4.6 sq mi) (including area of bog of 70,100 square metres ...
