Rabdentse, West Sikkim it is l  llIt lIt is located near Pelling and in the West Sikkim district . It was established by ​​Tensung Namgyal, the son of Phunstog Namgyal, the first Chogyal of Sikkim and remained the second city of the erstwhile kingdom of Sikkim for over a century. The city was destroyed by the invading Gurkha army in the 18th Century and today, its ruins stand as a sentinel of its regal past. Rabdentse was the second capital of the former Kingdom of Sikkim from 1670 to 1814. The capital city was destroyed by the invading Gurkha army and only the ruins of the palace and the chortens are seen here now. However, the ruins of this city are seen close to Pelling and in West Sikkim district in the Northeastern Indian state of present-day Sikkim; Pemayangtse Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim which is close to the ruins. SPORT MEET 2023

  Sport meet 2023 We had sport meet 2023 at our university for 3 day. In first day we had indoor game  and i was also participated in carrom. Me and my friend Roshan were participated from our section in carrom from girls and  from boys there were  John and Kiran at last the winner from girls was me and Roshan. And the volunteer was from our own section (Geeta and Samten) we enjoyed a lot with each other . And many of them were participated in dart ,chess etc. And  this  sport  meet 2023 was for every one both for girls and boys overall the participants played very well . In second day we had badminton and from section c our mate played  i .e Roshan from boys were Anish and from section B there was Rahul and Regina all  the participants were played very well and they gave their 100%. Exploring Khecheopalri Lake

 KHECHEOPALRI  LAKE   It is  Located  at 34 kilometres (21 mi) to the northwest of Pelling town, the lake is sacred for both Buddhists and Hindus, and is believed to be a wish fulfilling lake. The local name for the lake is  Sho Dzo Sho , which means "Oh Lady, Sit Here". The Khecheopalri is said to represent one of the four plexus of the human body namely, the thorax; the other three  plexes  are said to be represented by Yuksom  (the third eye), Tashiding (head) and Pemayangtse (the  heart).  The formation of the lake is estimated to be 3500 years old.  The lake is situated amidst pristine forest at an altitude of 1,700 metres (5,600 ft) near Tsozo village. The lake drains a catchment area of the Ramam watershed (Ramam mountain gives its name to the valley) and has a drainage area of 12 square kilometres (4.6 sq mi) (including area of bog of 70,100 square metres ...

 PELLING SKY WALK   India’s first glass skywalk is located right in the northeastern state of Sikkim. It is located in Sikkim’s Pelling and situated right opposite to the 137-feet statue of and it is in upper pelling . And it is established in 2018. The project was funded and constructed under the supervision of the Sikkim's Department of Culture and the Department of Housing Buildings and Housing.   It has been built so as to give a wonderful view of  the Chenrezig statue and the stairs that lead up to it, with golden prayer wheels on each side.  PEMAYANGTSE MONASTERY The PEMAYANGTSE MONASTERY is a Buddhist monastery in Pemayangtse , near pelling , a small hill town in the district of West Sikkim,India . The town is located at the distance of 10km from the district headquarters of  Geyzing and 131km from Gangtok Sikkim  .Planned, design and founded by Lama Lhatsun chempo in 1674 ,it is one of the oldest and premier monastery of Sikkim also the most famous in the Sikkim. It was established in the year 1705. The monastery follows the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism and control all the monasteries of that order in Sikkim. The monks of this monestry are normal chosen from the Bhutias of Sikkim.  Th monastery was built for "pur monks " (Tatshang) meaning  "monks of pur lineage",celibate and without any physical abnormality .                           SMRITI BAN It is located at Yangsum west Sikkim .  Previously smriti ban  was know as "Maaney dara" we  went through University it is in rural area and it has very clear and peaceful environment it was established in 2010 before that it was considered as a jungle.In this place the local people also used to come and spend their time.And also in this place many people used come and write poem and story. In upcoming generations their will be lots of development for tourists attraction at smriti ban .  but now the conditions of road wasn't good from this place we can see many beautiful view, also we can see many places like legship, kaluk ,sosing, Bermiok , pelling,Tashiding, Geyzing etc . many people used to come and visit also they used to do Yoga in the morning.During February to march their used to be lots of Rhododendron and There is also a  lot of homestay.    ...
